Did an official actually announce the date of Charles III's coronation in advance?

blurted out?

The palace hastens to deny it, but there may be a grain of truth in it.

London – It's the most important date coming up next year: the coronation of Charles III.

should be held in a smaller version than the coronation of his recently deceased mother Queen Elizabeth II (96, †2022), but the ceremony will be unparalleled.

An official has now suggested a date to Bloomberg.com that is sure to be high on the list of preferred dates for the highly traditional handover of the insignia.

Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II - Seating for guests at Westminster Abbey

When Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953, more than 8,000 guests from 129 nations came to Westminster Abbey.

Provisional platforms have also been made to accommodate all members of the British nobility to attend the Abbey in central London.

For safety reasons, the church can now only accommodate about 2,000 guests, which is a headache for the planners.

The coronation of Queen Elizabeth II took place 70 years ago

The palace quickly rushed to deny it.

But June 3, 2022 would be a fantastic coronation date.

Because almost to the day on June 2nd, exactly 70 years ago, Queen Elizabeth II received the crown on her head.

June 3rd in 2023 falls on a Saturday.

It is quite possible that the planning is not yet in place, but there are enough experts who would bet on the date.

Buckingham Palace has denied speculation that King Charles III.

to be crowned in June next year.

A Palace source told MailOnline that any reports of a date are "pure speculation".

Without wanting to give any further hints or references, she can assure that no date has yet been agreed or approved and that anyone who claims otherwise is wrong, it said.

And further: The talks are currently actively ongoing, a decision and announcement will be made as soon as a result has been reached.

Charles III

will be the oldest crowned person in British history at 74

On November 14 Charles III.

Turning 74 has been more than enough waiting for the throne.

When he finally receives the ruler's scepter and staff on the "Edward's Chair" - as a sign of his constitutional control over the nation - and the orb as a sign of the Christian world, his destiny will be fulfilled.

Anointed with oil, blessed and ordained by high-ranking clergy, he will then have the crown of St. Edward placed on his head.

Details of the ceremony planning have already been announced.

It has been reported to be a smaller, more modest version of earlier ceremonies, with space for representatives of different faiths and community groups, to reflect the diversity of modern Britain.

Charles will be crowned alongside his wife Camilla (74), the king's consort.
