The Department of School Buildings in the Daraa Education Directorate has completed the rehabilitation of two basic education schools in the cities of Jassim and Dael in the countryside of Daraa.
Head of the School Buildings Department, Engineer Radi Aloni, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the rehabilitation work was carried out in cooperation with an international organization, and included complete covering, isolation, maintenance of playgrounds and health facilities, providing 82 school seats for Jassim School, 96 seats for Dael School, and a number of classroom tables, chairs, heaters, and general hygiene supplies. He indicated that Jassem School accommodates 720 students, while Dael School accommodates 800 students.
Aloni pointed out that the department is continuing its work at a high pace to equip two schools in Atman and Kom al-Rumman, and nearly 70 health facilities in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch, indicating that the rehabilitation work falls within the framework of improving the infrastructure of school buildings.
