Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Zaporozhye Provincial Administration Council, confirmed that the Kyiv authorities are preparing to carry out new landings in the area of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, with the aim of seizing the station.
Russia Today website quoted Rogov as saying today: "Ukrainian forces have intensified their bombardment of the city of Energodar and its suburbs in recent days, while they are searching for a suitable area to carry out the operation to cross the Dnieper River and land in the area of the nuclear power station with the aim of seizing it later."
Rogov added that according to the information available to him, more than 450 well-trained and well-equipped elite soldiers who could be used to cross the Dnieper River arrived in the area under the control of Kiev from this province, pointing out that a group of British military experts directly supervised the development of a plan Crossing the Dnieper River.
On the first of last September, the Ukrainian forces carried out an attempt to seize the Zaporozhye nuclear power station with the help of a landing force, on the eve of the arrival of a delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency to the station.
On the other hand, Rogov said: The relevant security bodies in Ukraine asked the former director of the nuclear power station for information on the extent of the station's ability to resist dumping.
Earlier, it was announced that the former general manager of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, Igor Murashov, had been expelled to the territory under the Kyiv authorities, after proving his involvement in transmitting important information about the station to the Ukrainian side.
