At least 30 people were killed in an attack on a kindergarten in northern Thailand, police said.
According to the Bangkok Post, citing the authorities, many of the victims were children.
The perpetrator is therefore a former police officer;
armed with a knife and firearms, he stormed a day care center in Na Klang in northern Nong Bua Lamphu province.
According to police, he then fled before killing himself and his family.
