Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Today, the Israeli occupation forces closed the archaeological area in the town of Sebastia, north of the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
The mayor of Sebastia, Muhammad Azem, told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed the area and closed it completely and prevented Palestinians from entering it, indicating that this comes as a prelude to groups of settlers storming the town.
The occupation forces also intensified their military presence in the south of Jenin, and set up checkpoints in the vicinity of several towns and villages in the city, and impeded Palestinian traffic.
