The Ukrainian army continues to gain ground in the south of the country and is now approaching Kherson.

Occupied by Russia since March 2, barely ten days after the start of the invasion, it is, with nearly 280,000 inhabitants, the largest city in the south of the country, located on the western bank of the Dnieper river.

It is also the last large settlement north of Crimea.
