The Observatory said that the northeast monsoon is affecting Guangdong, while showers are affecting western Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. It is expected that there will be sunshine in Hong Kong for part of the afternoon today (7th), and the wind will moderate to the east to the northeast.

Tonight is mostly cloudy with a shower or two and occasional strong winds offshore.

Tomorrow Saturday (8th) is the cold dew of the 24th solar term, and the temperature is expected to be between 25 and 30 degrees.


The Observatory also predicts that a cooler monsoon replenishment will reach the South China coast from Sunday evening to Monday morning. Next week, the area will be generally sunny and dry, with cooler mornings and evenings, and a large temperature difference between day and night.

Among them, next Tuesday (11th) the urban temperature is expected to further drop to a minimum of 22 degrees and very dry.

Referring to the Observatory's automatic regional weather forecast, the temperature difference between morning and evening will be large in various districts next Tuesday, and the situation in the North of the New Territories is more obvious. The minimum temperature in Sheung Shui is expected to be 20 degrees at 7 am, but it is expected to rise to 31 degrees by 3 pm, with a temperature difference of 11 degrees. Citizens should pay more attention when going out to work or go to school.
