After almost 10 months, Siamese cat Lucky found a home, but his new owners brought him back to the shelter.

People there are appalled.

Nuremberg - "We were so happy that Lucky found a home after almost 10 months in the animal shelter - but unfortunately we were happy too soon." The Nuremberg animal shelter reported this on its Facebook page at the beginning of October.

Animal shelter Nuremberg appalled: "Sometimes we just don't have the words"

After only two days in the new home, the cat was brought back, although he had done nothing wrong.

Animal rights activists were appalled that "you just couldn't live with a cat after all".

"Why don't you think about it beforehand?

Do you know what it means for the animal to be pushed back and forth like that?

Sometimes we just don't have the words."

But Lucky doesn't lack the words, the animal shelter continues, "that's why he introduces himself again personally, hoping to really find the right people soon who won't give him up anymore!"

Siamese cat Lucky is looking for new "staff" - freed from bad posture

“As you will surely recognize, I am a beautiful Siamese cat.

I'm about 4 years old and I'm looking for my new 'staff' here,” writes the animal shelter from the tomcat's point of view.

He was originally poorly kept and had to live in a small room "because the other animals (dogs, cats) didn't get along with me."

Animal shelter Nuremberg is looking for a home for a Siamese cat: Lucky has obsessive-compulsive disorder

Loved ones would then have "freed" him, but he didn't find a permanent home here either, "because they were overwhelmed with my peculiarities," it continues.

"I'm not a 0815 cat, I'm special," is written from Lucky's point of view.

Both in his interim home and at the beginning here in the animal shelter, he was quite unclean "and even worse, I acquired an obsessive-compulsive disorder, probably due to the one-room attitude at the beginning of my life."

In the beginning, he went around in circles almost continuously – both during the day and at night.

The cat was checked medically, everything was fine so far.

"My keepers then got help from a veterinarian who specializes in animal behavior and what can I say, I have to take a small pill in the morning and in the evening, but the urination has completely disappeared and the turning is actually gone, only in very stressful situations or if I haven't eaten my pill properly, it still happens from time to time, but then I let myself be interrupted and distracted."

"Dear, cuddly guy": Animal shelter Nuremberg is looking for interested parties for cat Lucky

A large apartment or house with a secured balcony or, ideally, a secured garden is desirable for Lucky's permanent home.

Other cats or animals should not be in the new home.

"If I ever get to know you, I'm actually a nice, cuddly guy who also likes to be left alone;

otherwise I can sometimes react a bit bitchy, ”the Facebook post continues.

Anyone who can imagine taking Lucky with them can fill out the interest form.

Bringing Lucky back to shelter: 'I just don't get people like that'

Over 1700 people have given the Facebook post a like or a heart.

"I just don't understand people like that!

So after 2 days you realize that you can't live with a cat after all!? ”Annoyed a woman in the comments.

"But I think it's better for this sweetheart not to be there anymore," she says.

"How cold, ignorant and callous towards Lucky," said another person.

Many keep their fingers crossed for Lucky to find his home soon.
