A 48-year-old man was arrested Thursday in Luxembourg after the discovery of a dismembered body of a woman found on September 19 in Mont-Saint-Martin, in the French department of Meurthe-et-Moselle, announced Friday October 7 the Diekirch public prosecutor's office (Luxembourg).

Luxembourg justice was seized of the investigation on Tuesday after the diffusion of tattoos on the body made it possible to identify the victim: a forty-year-old woman, of Portuguese origin and domiciled in Diekirch.

,” the Luxembourg authorities said.
The suspect was brought before an investigating judge, charged, then remanded in custody at the Schrassig Penitentiary Center.
He is being prosecuted for murder.

The trunk of the victim had been discovered by a passerby in mid-September
"near a disused building"
in Mont-Saint-Martin, a town located on the border with Belgium and Luxembourg, had detailed the parquet floor of Nancy, initially grasped.
The results of the autopsy of the woman's body did not reveal any traces of bullet or stab wounds or sexual violence.

A white march in tribute to the victim, whose identity would be Diana Santos according to the Luxembourg press, is organized on October 22 in the border town of Athus, in Belgium.
