A 40-year-old woman, Marlène Dietrich - namesake of the famous actress - is appearing for murder from Friday, October 7 before the Assizes of the Alpes-Maritimes, reports

The case, reported by our colleagues, began in 2013. Thibault met Marlène at McDonald's in Cannes.
This man from Paris, father of a little boy, quickly falls in love with this young dark-haired woman, a former carer in a retirement home.
They move in together, in Cannes, but the love story quickly becomes very complex: Marlène vanishes regularly for several days.
She makes Thibault believe that she is exploited by pimps and forced into prostitution.
Convinced, Thibault ends up giving up this love story and goes back to the capital.
But in October 2015, Marlène announces to Thibault that she has changed her life and that she wants to marry him.
She even comes to Paris to convince him.
They leave together for Cannes on October 22 but Thibault then gives no more news to his relatives.
Very worried, the young man's mother goes in person to the South: Marlène explains to her that Thibault has left home the next day.
A stubborn hatred towards his rival
Marlène is nevertheless called into question by her telephony: she was absent the night of October 22 and had very many contacts with a man named Semaan.
In the summer of 2015, while she was still living with Thibault, Marlène began a relationship with this young man, a minor and suffering from schizophrenia.
She promises him to "
engage with him
" while driving him mad with jealousy.
She tells him in particular that she became pregnant with him but that she lost the baby after being hit by Thibault.
From then on, Seeman develops a stubborn hatred towards Thibault, whom he has never seen.
Seeman was found hanged in the forest of Mons, in the Var, after the disappearance of Thibault.

I know I'm not a killer (…) I can't do it anymore
,” he confesses in a video found by investigators in his cell phone.
Before his suicide, Seeman had also confided to his friends that the plan had been prepared with Marlène, that she opened the door to him the night of October 22 to 23, 2015 while Thibault was sleeping, and that they would then have buried the body. in the forest of Mons.
At the end of her police custody, Marlène had come to recognize a fight that had gone wrong which she would have only witnessed.
She has since recanted.
