Luminous scenes of the bravery and valor of the Tishreen soldiers under the line of fire, were present at the (and accept Tishreen) festival, which was held by the Palestinian Arab Club, the Palestinian Arab Writers Union, to celebrate the forty-ninth anniversary of the Tishreen Liberation War, at the club's headquarters in Aleppo.
The festival, presented by the poet Mahmoud Ali Al-Saeed, included luminous scenes that reflected the valor and courage of the Tishreen soldiers under the line of fire, about which elite officers of the Syrian Arab Army and the Palestinian Liberation Army who participated in the Tishreen battles spoke.
The festival also included the presentation of patriotic songs for the national choir and a number of artistic teams of the Palestinian Arab Club, in addition to news reports on the victories of the October war and the bravery of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army during the battles, while the poet Salloum Elias al-Salloum performed a group of patriotic poems.
Al-Saeed said in a statement to SANA reporter that the effects of the October war will remain an eternal memory and an honorable achievement that will be passed down through generations, restoring the rights and dignity of the Arab nation.
Colonel Mustafa al-Sufi, head of the Aleppo One Heart group, pointed out that the October war cannot be considered a passing event, because it charted the fate of the region for the future, turned the scales and smashed the myth of the indomitable Israeli enemy.
Sergeant Khaled al-Dakour of the Palestine Liberation Army explained that he participated in many battles during the October war and downed an Israeli enemy plane and was awarded a first-class medal in honor of his bravery, indicating that the October war is a symbol for every fighting person who believes that the homeland is precious and dear.
The lieutenant in the Syrian Arab Army, Abdul Hamid Diwan, indicated that the October Liberation War represented a spot of light for the homeland and the Arab soldier, as it was a response to the June setback, explaining that her memory, which he was participating in today's battles, is filled with a feeling of pride and happiness.
