Are you planning a camping holiday but don't know exactly where to go?
Perhaps the 100 trendiest campsites will give you some inspiration.
During the corona pandemic there was a real rush for mobile homes and caravans.
Those interested in camping find the independence particularly appealing, but also the closeness to nature and the higher level of protection against corona infection, as the
Allensbach opinion research institute
found out.
Corona measures are now playing less of a role in holiday planning, but camping is clearly back in fashion.
However, newcomers in particular are asking themselves: Where can I actually go camping?
The portal
camping.info
, which evaluated the page views on its website in the 2022 season, has the answer.
The 10 most desirable campsites of 2022
The ranking shows which of the 23,000 campsites listed received the most clicks.
Campingpark Kühlungsborn in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is in first place.
At this year's
camping.info
awards, the camping park also took first place based on user ratings.
This is followed by the family-friendly Südsee-Camp in Lower Saxony in second place and the Wulfener Hals camping and holiday park in Schleswig-Holstein.
Camping Hopfensee in Bavaria secures 4th place.
German campsites are clearly ahead in the evaluation, but two Italian and one Croatian campsite also aroused the interest of users.
With 14 places, Bavaria is represented most frequently in the top 100 ranking.
