A "spectacle" of water pipes bursting in Cheung Sha Wan.

At about 3 a.m. today (8th), a saltwater pipe with a diameter of about 40 centimeters burst at the foot of the footbridge at the junction of Lai Chi Kok Road and Tonkin Street.

A large amount of water flows down from the stone trough and spreads out along the road, flooding the nearby road surface for dozens of meters. It is like a "small waterfall" in nature.

During the flooding period, all passing vehicles had to wade through the water and traffic was slightly obstructed.

After the incident, the Water Supplies Department dispatched personnel to the scene to turn off the water switch and make emergency repairs.
