Teaching: how the private won the match against the public

SURVEY – While the school of the Republic reaches the depths of international rankings, private education is doing well thanks to autonomy and educational projects that appeal to families of all origins, concerned about the success of their children.


A practicing Muslim, Dhekra Bedoui has chosen the private sector for her two boys.

“Not always reassuring environments,

Religious awakening concerns all religions and is based on tolerance and the uniqueness of God.

In the canteen, my children don't eat pork.

But if they want to eat halal, they will do it elsewhere, or later.”
