The 46th President of the United States (the oldest ever elected) has never hidden his congenital clumsiness since he describes himself as a “blunder machine”.
A machine that was already working before he came to power.
We remember, for example, this 2008 meeting, where he invited Senator Chuck Graham to stand up while he was in a wheelchair.
The fact remains that said "machine" tends to get carried away and accelerate.
On September 28, during a speech to Congress, Joe Biden asks:
“Where is
Jackie Walorski
?”
while the unfortunate died six weeks earlier and he himself had sent a message of condolence to the family.
His spokesperson, Karine Jean-Pierre, had to split a corrigendum as embarrassed as embarrassing (poor thing does not have an easy job!).
