Among those arrested was a 19-year-old youth who was suspected of "conspiracy to criminally damage", believed to be related to an earlier case of illegal collection in Mong Kok district.

After preliminary investigation by the police, it is believed that someone used money to induce the youth to commit illegal acts related to illegal collection of money.
