An 18-year-old suspect was remanded in custody on Sunday night after Asriel, 19, was shot dead in a brawl Friday night to Saturday in the Hautes-Mardelles district in Brunoy (Essonne).
“He has been indicted for murder and aggravated violence”, confirms this Monday morning the prosecution of Évry.
This is the rapper YKM, who was arrested a few hours after the fact.
According to the latter's version, he would have killed his best friend by mistake during a brawl between rival neighborhoods.
According to his statements in police custody, he brandished a shotgun to strike one of his alleged assailants with the butt of the butt and a projectile accidentally left, mortally wounding Asriel in the chest.
The victim finally died before arriving at the Henri-Mondor hospital in Créteil (Val-de-Marne).
In this case, three other suspects were also indicted for aggravated violence.
One of them was placed in pre-trial detention, the other two under judicial control.
On the part of the murder, the investigating judge decided to place them under the status of assisted witness.
The rapper saved in extremis by the police
