Human stories and tales embodied by the plastic artist Ahmed Assaf, in his exhibition “The Biography of the Violet”, expressing through him what is going on in his minds of different thoughts, feelings and sensations.
The exhibition, which was hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in El-Adawy, included 31 works of various sizes, between small and medium, using acrylic and oil techniques.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Assaf indicated that the reason for naming his exhibition the biography of the violets, given that the color is due to the situation in which the artist lives, and through it expresses internal conflicts, while presenting the product of his rich experience and his association with mysterious and unclear characters.
He explained that his exhibition embodies various human and social situations, in addition to paintings that carry a lot of hope and optimism.
In turn, the plastic artist, Bassam Al-Hajali, saw that Assaf embodied in his paintings the feelings and human situations in society, and expressed in his own style his inner innermost with multiple and simple techniques.
