Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, confirmed that the session of the United Nations General Assembly on Ukraine was politicized, and was held specifically to promote anti-Russian rhetoric.
In his speech during a session of the United Nations General Assembly on Ukraine, Nebenzia said that today's session on Ukraine was politicized, as it turned out that it was held for the sake of the discourse opposing Russia, pointing out that NATO is working to escalate the conflict with Russia with the aim of weakening it and chose Ukraine to achieve this goal To make it a testing ground for Western weapons.
Nebenzia added that the US draft resolution on referendums is another step to split the United Nations, stressing that the majority of residents of Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson chose to join Russia.
Nebenzia pointed out that Russia proposed to hold a secret vote on the West’s decision not to recognize referendums in the liberated areas. Dragging NATO countries to confront Russia, including Zelensky's call for atomic strikes against Russia.
Nebenzia stressed that Russia respects the Charter of the United Nations, including the principle of the territorial integrity of states, which must be viewed in the context of the principle of self-determination of states, indicating that the Kyiv regime has lost its legitimacy by Russian-speaking.
"Ukraine hopes to avoid loss on the battlefields and impunity, but for us this is the beginning of World War III and one example of what the Kyiv regime can do is sabotage the Crimean bridge," Nebizia said.
