A new episode of the war in Ukraine opened on Monday morning with massive Russian bombardments on the center of kyiv and eight other regions, including that of Lviv, in the west of the country.
The inhabitants of the Ukrainian capital, who had not experienced such strikes for months, have returned to the explosions, the gutted streets, the buildings in flames, the refuge in the metro, the deaths and the dread… The mayor of kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, indicated that five people were dead and fifty-one others injured.
According to the Ukrainian Defense, the Russian army launched a total of eighty-three missiles, including forty-three cruise missiles, and fifty-two of these missiles were intercepted by the air defense.
