He was luckier with the weather.
In the interview he takes stock of his Wiesn.
Has the rain spoiled your Oktoberfest business?
The rain was bitter, of course, but I can't really complain.
The people were there, but a lot in the tents.
My business was still ok.
The weather was a pity, especially for the visitors.
And the people of Munich.
As a showman, how do you deal with your own dependency on the weather?
As a showman, you don't anticipate a certain income in advance.
We can do a lot, but we can't change the weather yet.
After the Wiesn, do you go on holiday first?
no
After the Wiesn is before the Bremen Freimarkt.
We are in the middle of construction right now.
We dismantle the tower in Munich and reassemble it directly in Bremen.
Then it's on to London's Winter Wonderland.
