Tishreen Tahrir shines poetry in the University Graduates Association in Homs

The words glow, and Tishreen Al-Tahrir illumines poetry on its forty-ninth anniversary in the Association of University Graduates in Homs, where a group of poets commemorated the glorious Tishreen war.

The evening began with the Palestinian Arab poet Kamel Beshtawi with a poem entitled “Thank you,” in which he valued the sacrifices and heroisms of our Syrian Arab army, and called for the unity of the Arab ranks to restore victory in Palestine.

He also sang in his poem of vertical poetry “in the Levant” with the magic of its breeze and trees, and in it there are soldiers who do not kneel, and it is for him that if the years of his dreams are lost, the Levant is his wounds and the scalpel, and he concluded the poem “A message from a martyr” on the lips of a martyr inside his grave while his wife cries for him to spread hope and patience.

The poet “Khadija al-Hassan” recited sentimental poems from the long sea, entitled Barada, in which legends of glory run, and another poem that embodied the image of Syria that is forever longing for a healthy Syria, and always victorious over its wounds, as the poet recalled the glories of October liberation and the heroism of our armed forces.

In his poem to the valiant Tishreen army, the poet “Ibrahim Al-Hashem” sent the most fragrant words and the noblest feelings, and he lamented his friend the martyr Major General Bilal Bilal in a vertical poem.

The poet Shalash Al-Daher recited poems in classical, and in the spoken dialect, in which he recalled the pages of heroism and dignity in Tishreen al-Tahrir, where he sang the glories of the Levant, as well as a lyrical poem.

The evening was concluded by the poet Hassan Ahmed Kutoub with poems in classical from vertical poetry and in vernacular, in which he evoked images of heroism and glories in his poem “In the Rehab of Tishreen.”

The evening, which was moderated by the writer Issa Ismail, in the garden of the University Graduates Association in Homs was attended by a crowd of intellectuals and interested people.
