A 55-year-old man perished tonight (Saturday) in a fire that broke out in an apartment in a residential building on Ha-Atsamat Avenue in Bat Yam.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical care to 2 women in their 70s in a minor condition.
MDA paramedic Matan Doshi and MDA emergency medicine medic Lior Paz said: "This is a fire in an apartment in a residential building. During the firefighting operations, an unconscious man was found in the apartment and as soon as possible they went inside, but unfortunately he suffered from severe burns on his body and all we had to do was determine his death. 2 women who left the apartment and suffered from smoke inhalation are being treated on the spot by MDA teams.
