A Michigan family was reunited with their 2-year-old son after their car was stolen with him inside, thanks to the heroics of two school bus drivers who raised the alarm about the kidnapping.
The events occurred when the parents were accompanying their eldest son to take the school bus and left the little one inside the vehicle, with the engine running.
At that moment, an individual took the opportunity to steal the car, taking the child at the same time.
Realizing what had happened, they detained Dave Skinner, a driver for Kelloggsville Public Schools in the Grand Rapids area, with alarm.
"They yelled at me that someone had stolen their car with their baby in it
," Skinner told ABC affiliate station WZZM.
The security camera installed on his school bus captured the scene.
The driver immediately called the 911 emergency number, but also radioed the alarm to other colleagues who were working in the area.

Driver Sue Figueroa had seen a small child alone on the edge of a sidewalk and immediately turned her bus around when she heard the news.
"I had just seen a little baby around the corner, standing with a blanket," Figueroa said.
The minor had allegedly been abandoned by the person who hijacked his parents' car.

The woman took the child in her arms and put him in the vehicle.
The security camera installed on her school bus captured the scene.
Minutes later, the family was reunited.
Kentwood police told Wzzm they are still searching for the suspect in the theft, though the stolen vehicle has since been found.
