A 24-year-old Tunisian was placed in pre-trial detention and indicted for murder after the death of a 28-year-old compatriot, fatally stabbed Friday, October 7 in Montargis (Loiret), announced the Orleans prosecutor's office.
Friday evening, police found that a man, lying on the public highway, had a five-centimeter wound in the chest, possibly caused by a knife.
The victim died Saturday morning from his injuries.
A 24-year-old Tunisian, who went to the hospital where the victim was, was taken into custody.

According to the first elements collected, the victim and the alleged murderer were both in an irregular situation.
