The forces shot down the drone and took it near the fence. The IDF stated that the drone was under surveillance and did not cross the Gaza fence towards Israel.

The event comes after a period of security warming, mainly in the areas of Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem.

Earlier today, a fighter in the Givat patrol, First Sergeant Ido Baruch, 21, was killed in a shooting attack near Shavi Samaria.
