"Huif Kini, huif", the new play by the Loisachtal farmer's stage, celebrates a successful premiere in the Ratsstuben.

– The reception for the visitors alone was royal.

Ludwig Gollwitzer, honorary member and co-founder of the Loisachtaler Bauernbühne (LBB), which has existed for 42 years, presented colorful roses to all women who passed the admission control in the Geretsrieder Ratsstubensaal on Friday evening.

Male companions were allowed to treat themselves to a shot of schnapps on the house.

The premiere of the piece "Huif Kini huif", which was postponed to 2020, would not have needed such stimulating means at all.

The actors' joy in playing was quickly transferred to the audience, who repeatedly gave frenetic applause.

The invited Geretsried residential group of the Sternstunden house of the Inselhaus children and youth welfare service, for example, laughed out loud at the dialogues between the tipple brother Oskar (Andreas Wastian) and the bottle collector Frieda (Christine Brauner).

The play comes two years late on the stage

While the latter, despite being homeless, is bursting with joie de vivre, Oskar is plagued by worries.

He would like to use a hut on the shore of Lake Starnberg as a winter home.

That, in turn, does not suit the widow Gisela Hinterholzner (Monika Schwenger).

She would like to sell the property as the supposed rightful heir for a whopping 15 million euros.

"If I imagine returnable bottles, you can fill up the whole lake and then there was a mountain as high as the Wendelstoa," Frieda calculates in astonishment.

Oskar is hoping for salvation from the resurrected King Ludwig II (Michael Hanak).

However, the monarch turns out to be a crank who has been released from the insane asylum, who makes high-flown remarks and is soon incapacitated by the paranoid Melli (Melissa Demmel) with a well-aimed ax on the head.

Oskar finally gives in to the red wine, especially since the stupid grinning Richi (Tom Janoschi), the overwhelmed Professor Dr.

Klapproth (Martin Zengerle) and the greedy broker Schnapp (Stefan Randi) cause a lot of confusion.

Until the happy ending, director Monika Schwenger incorporated plenty of gags into the lively production.

Hall only half full: Actors hope for more viewers

At the premiere, the actors blended effortlessly into the autumnal stage set designed by Max Prestel and Konrad Huber.

The former LBB Chairwoman Melanie Tobian applied the make-up to the actors, so that the eccentric fairy tale king and the bum couple Oskar and Frieda in particular also looked authentic on the outside.

The Schützenried musicians provided musical entertainment during the two breaks.

After the successful performance on Friday evening, the Loisachtaler Bauernbühne hopes for more visitors at the next dates, as the hall was only half full.

The actors undoubtedly deserved it.
