Mother leaves school children at home because of compulsory testing: she almost goes to prison for it

Since her children stayed away from school because of the mask and corona test obligation, a Peißenberg woman got into trouble.

A prison sentence was already in the room.

Peißenberg

- A uniformed police officer, a woman, in between on the table a mourning bouquet, from which a large owl has directed its eyes to banknotes that are changing sides: Walkers who walked past the Peißenberg miners' chapel these days were amazed at this bizarre scenery .

But what happened here was an official act on behalf of the state, because Alexandra Drommeter had asked that a fine that she had to pay be handed over at this location.

A knowledgeable police officer had agreed to the unusual procedure.

The Drommeter file started with the introduction of mandatory tests and masks in schools.

"The nasal mucous membranes are sacred to me, my children have so many problems with them," says the 42-year-old when she explains why she refused corona tests for her daughter and son.

"In addition, the tests are not conclusive," Drommeter is convinced.

Children placed in private study group

She also had concerns that her son in particular, who has a lack of concentration, was not getting enough oxygen with a mask.

Ultimately, the mother decided to have her children schooled in a private study group by a teacher on parental leave.

"It worked great," she explains.

At school, the children were on sick leave by a doctor.

But at some point the certificate was missing, the school, later the youth welfare office and the district office got involved.

Because compulsory education was violated.

"Somehow it took on a life of its own," admits Drommeter, not having paid attention to all the letters: "It was all just too much for me, the pressure too great."

Then she missed the deadline to file an appeal.

"I wasn't very motivated because I thought I'd lose anyway and then I just forgot about it," she says, looking back on the situation at the time.

But in the end it was: numbers or coercive detention.

In fact, she wanted to go to jail

Drommeter initially wanted to go to prison, but then decided against it - for the sake of her mother, who had a heart condition, and for fear that the children could suffer disadvantages.

But the Peißenberg woman was reluctant to simply transfer the money: "I wanted a symbolic gesture as satisfaction for me."

With Matthias Kluge she had a very understanding clerk at the Weilheim police.

He got involved at Drommeter's request.

Together with a colleague, he walked the way to the chapel, accepted the 100 euros fine plus 37 euros in fees, and filled out the associated forms on site.

The officer did not take the arrangement with a ribbon with a dedication for children who “were driven to their deaths thanks to Corona politicians”.

Drommeter now wants to find a suitable position for this – perhaps with an official authority in Munich.
