An Israeli was slightly-moderately wounded today (Tuesday) by gunfire near the settlement of Shevi Shomron.
A preliminary investigation shows that this is apparently an attack carried out against participants in a march organized by the Samaria Regional Council.
On the eve of the holiday, there was an attempted shooting attack on the settlement, but no one was hurt.
"The lack of power of this government is bleeding, we have been begging, warning and shouting for more than a month, close the checkpoints, collect the weapons, stop the incitement, take military action against the Palestinian Authority, which is fueling a wave of terrorism here," raged the head of the Shomron Regional Council, Yossi Dagan after the event.
"The fabric of life of the supporters of terrorism in Nablus is worth more than the blood of the citizens of the State of Israel. It costs the blood of citizens, it costs the blood of soldiers, it costs the blood of security guards at the checkpoints."
