The condition of David Morel, the security guard who was injured in the attack at the Shoafat checkpoint last Saturday, continues to be difficult, according to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital today (Tuesday).
Morel's condition is unstable, he is sedated and ventilated in the neurosurgery intensive care unit and family members stay by his side all the time.
David immigrated to Israel from Brazil in 2017. He served in the IDF as a lone soldier and after his release began working as a security guard. His family asks the public to pray for his recovery, his full name is Haim David ben Esther.
