At a time of energy sobriety, more than 6 out of 10 French people (61%) declare that the preservation of nature and the environment are greater concerns than before the start of the health crisis.
However, for 80% of them, it is primarily the role of tourism professionals to take care of reducing the impact of their activities on the environment (1).
Not easy.
So new players want to go further by betting on the goodwill of the French, nearly one in two of whom would agree to pay more to travel responsibly (44%, Ifop survey, April 2021).
Driven by the aspirations of some of them in search of reconnection to the land, new modes of hospitality are flourishing in the countryside.

Stays in France: weekends, hotels and tailor-made stays from our partners
This platform for booking stays and experiences in France has just been created by an... Italian.
Pier Tognazzini, a polyglot in his forties, has been dedicated to promoting France, his adopted country, for more than 20 years.
Attached to his Verona and Piedmont origins, he is also a tireless defender of local heritage and gastronomy and knows perfectly the concepts of
slow food
and rural tourism, since he has been traveling this way since he was young.
“
Our ambition is to provide our customers with our expertise through authentic and eco-responsible stays throughout France
,” he explains.
By responding concretely to the new expectations of tomorrow's tourists, MooVert wants to be an actor in the strategies and directives of the Destination France Plan to help make this country the world's leading destination for sustainable tourism by 2030.

More than 180 accommodations in France
Would you be surprised to learn that a superb castle of Flemish architecture is located in the heart of the Vendée?
Press picture
From a typically Briard farm in the heart of green Brie to a superb Flemish-style castle in Vendée near the ocean, via a recycled shipping container transformed into an eco-lodge without a foundation (so as not to denature the soil) in a pioneering area of organic viticulture north of Carcassonne... Neither quite hotels nor quite bed and breakfasts, these places play the card of the unclassifiable, to better invent their own codes.
More than 180 accommodations recognized as players in the local and heritage development of their territories have already been selected on the site.
To help you choose a stay, MooVert assigns 3, 4 or 5 pine cones to each accommodation.
And on the methodology side,
an algorithm was specially created with Teragir/La Clef Verte (for the eco-responsible part) and Bienvenue à la Ferme (for the authenticity and enhancement of the territories) in order to guarantee contact with service providers who contribute to the enhancement assets and favor short distribution circuits.
All that remains is to book your next weekend.
