The UN General Assembly has overwhelmingly condemned Russia's "illegal annexations" in Ukraine.
143 member states voted for a corresponding resolution.
NEW YORK - The UN General Assembly has overwhelmingly condemned Russia's "illegal annexations" in Ukraine.
At an emergency session on Wednesday, 143 UN member states voted in favor of a resolution on the declared annexation of the Ukrainian regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhia, five against.
35 countries abstained, including China, India, South Africa and Pakistan.
