Greta Thunberg gave an interview to Stern magazine.

In it, the 19-year-old climate activist reveals: "I'm happier than I've ever been."

Stockholm - Imagine Greta Thunberg, the militant climate activist, sitting at the table in her 3-person flat share in Stockholm and doing puzzles or sitting comfortably on the couch and embroidering.

That she has to think long and hard about which socks to wear in the morning.

Or shares a bedroom with her two roommates.

Actually a nice thought.

Greta Thunberg now has these intimate insights into her life today in an interview with

granted.

The 19-year-old, who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, revealed to the magazine: "I'm happier than ever."

"It's weird that everyone thinks I'm an angry teenager who never laughs," Thunberg explains.

She talks a lot of nonsense, likes to have people around her - unlike in the past - and is often out and about.

"Then I do couch surfing and sleep over at friends of friends."

Greta Thunberg is happy: "But I know that the climate crisis makes many people depressed"

Thunberg sometimes finds it strange that she is so happy in the Swedish capital, in her final year of high school.

"I know that the climate crisis is making a lot of people depressed."

But as a climate icon, it is in demand.

Also as an interview guest.

Thunberg recently spoke to Sandra Maischberger about the debate in Germany about allowing the nuclear power plants that are still in operation to continue running in view of the lack of gas deliveries from Russia.

"Personally, I think it's a bad idea to bet on coal while the nuclear plants are still running," she explained pragmatically.
