Another tense night in Jerusalem: injured and arrested in clashes in Sheikh Jarrah
A day after the severe clashes in East Jerusalem, riots were recorded in several centers in the area this evening as well.
Two injured people were evacuated from violent disturbances in Sheikh Jarrah, where five suspects were arrested.
Four more detainees, all ten years old, were arrested in other neighborhoods

A day after the riots in East Jerusalem, disturbances were also recorded this evening (Thursday) in several neighborhoods in the city.
So far, in these events, two wounded people have been evacuated from clashes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
For now, the security forces are still operating in the east and surrounding Jerusalem and are managing to overcome the problem areas, while preparing for a tense night in the area.
During the evening, riots began in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood, which included throwing stones, shooting fireworks and throwing Molotov cocktails at the police forces operating there.
There were no casualties and no damage was caused.
The police and MGB forces that were operating at the scene dispersed the disturbances and arrested one suspect on suspicion of involvement in the riots.

Three other suspects were arrested while shooting fireworks and intending to throw stones in the Beit Hanina area.
The ages of the suspects are only 10, 12 and 13.
After that, there was silence in the neighborhood.
In the riots in which two people were injured in Sheikh Jarrah, five more suspects were arrested for throwing stones.
At the end of an assessment of the existing situation with the district command and the commanders of the forces, the commander of the Jerusalem district, Superintendent Doron Turgeman, said that they are "deployed in all sectors of the district with increased forces to maintain security and order, in the East Jerusalem area and all over the city, and are working in several efforts at the same time."
