The calm was only temporary.
After the scuffles Tuesday in front of the Joliot-Curie high school, in Nanterre, then an uneventful day on Wednesday, the tension rose again this Thursday morning.
New incidents broke out at 8:30 a.m., with a face-to-face between the police and high school students wishing to block access to the school establishment.
