Broadcast between 2002 and 2006 on TF1, "There's only the truth that counts" was a great success at the time.
C8 had decided to revive this show by offering its viewers the opportunity to find the best moments of the program, embellished with current videos giving news of the protagonists, in a version produced by Cyril Hanouna.
As of September 8, the public found themselves in front of a moving television reunion organized by Pascal Bataille and Laurent Fontaine in the company of the smiling Rebecca.

Despite a very honorable first audience score – more than one million fans, or 5.4% of the public, had watched C8 on Thursday, September 8 – C8 chose to program

presented by Cyril Hanouna on Thursday October 20, then an unpublished documentary on Christian Quesada, ex-hero of the “Twelve noon shots” before experiencing legal setbacks and then imprisonment, on Thursday October 27.
"There's only the truth that counts" of Thursday 13 was therefore the last appointment of the television comeback of Bataille and Fontaine, previously revived by their popularity on social networks.

Guests of “Buzz TV” after their successful premiere, the two friends refused to get excited at the start of September, preferring to wait for the results of the second issue.
“It made us very happy.
Now, at 60, we have passed the age of getting excited like little goats.
We are very modest, we wait
,” said Laurent Fontaine.
