Young people in Shuafat shave their heads to make the hunt for the terrorist more difficult, October 15, 2022 (use according to Article 27A of the Copyright Law)

A week has passed since the deadly shooting attack at the Shuafat checkpoint, and the fugitive terrorist Udai Tamimi has not yet been caught.

The IDF forces, the Border Guard and the Shin Bet continue to search for Tamimi with increased forces, and at the same time the hunt continues for the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack in Shomron captivity.

While the terrorists continue to hide and the searches are focused on the neighborhoods of East Jerusalem, the incitement on the Palestinian street and on social networks continues and disturbances and attempted attacks are recorded with daily frequency, the latest of which was the shooting attack last night in the settlement of Beit El.

Today (Saturday) the IDF arrested the second terrorist from the attack, and several other suspects.

In last night's attack, a 25-year-old resident of the settlement was slightly injured after being shot while sitting in the gazebo in his yard.

IDF soldiers operating in the area shot at one of the terrorists and killed him. Today in the morning, after a night of searches, the forces captured the second terrorist, who fled after the shooting. Weapons were found in the home of the terrorist, Muhammad Odeh, 19, from the village of Deir Jarir. , uniforms and propaganda materials. The injured young man was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

Tensions in Judea and Samaria continue with rioters continuing to throw stones at Israeli vehicles and buses.

A three-year-old girl was slightly injured in the face yesterday near the village of Hawara.

In response, a group of settlers from the area arrived at the scene and confronted Palestinians.

Military forces that arrived at the scene kept the stone throwers away and are using means to disperse demonstrations.

At the same time, a bus passenger was slightly injured by stone throwing on road 436 near Jerusalem.

On Route 55, between Ezon and the Ma'ale Shomron intersection, an Israeli driver was also slightly injured by throwing stones.

The security tensions reached a peak in the last month, when attacks were carried out against the security forces or against civilians every day, and in many cases several times a day.

In the last week, the escalation in Samaria spilled over to East Jerusalem as well, and the area became a battlefield.

One of the main causes of unrest on the Palestinian street is the incitement against Israel on social media, which causes many of the young people to participate in particularly violent riots.

The terrorist group "Lions' Den", which is responsible for many attacks in recent times, started its journey on Tiktok, which has become a fertile ground for serious incitement.

Today it was announced that the Tiktok account of the group was blocked.
