Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that Russia will continue its special military operation to the end, despite NATO's involvement in fueling the crisis in Ukraine and in the region.
“De facto, NATO is involved in the Ukrainian crisis, and this complicates matters further, but this does not affect in one way or another all our goals,” TASS news agency quoted Peskov as saying during a program on Russia 1 channel, stressing that “the special Russian military operation does not It is still going on, and it will be implemented until the end.”
Peskov added: “Maybe this will require our internal economic mobilization and others. The capabilities of the Kyiv regime are one thing, and the capabilities of NATO are another. It is an additional burden, but Russia’s capabilities allow us to continue carrying out the operation in such conditions, whatever they may be.”
With regard to setting a ceiling on the price of Russian oil, Peskov stated that “many countries are beginning to face the consequences of their reckless decisions, and joining the camp of supporters of the price ceiling will become another price, which the citizens of these countries will have to pay.”
After the Russian military operation to protect Donbass, the United States and its allies are seeking to impose restrictions on Russian oil export prices, with the aim of reducing Russia’s revenues and maintaining its presence in the global market. However, this endeavor has led to a fuel and energy crisis that has negative effects on all European countries.
