With the aim of promoting vocational education and developing performance, the Damascus Health Scientific Days were launched today, and will continue until next Wednesday through 20 hubs in 7 hospitals.
The 150 lectures focus on gastrointestinal, dermatological, cardiac and respiratory diseases, psychiatry, plastic surgery, urology, eye diseases and surgery, general surgery, kidney diseases, nervous system, glands, musculoskeletal system, ear, nose and throat diseases, oncology, pediatrics, orthopedics and blood diseases.
And from Ibn Al-Nafis Hospital, the Director of Damascus Health, Dr. Muhammad Samer Shahrour, indicated in a statement to reporters that the Damascus Health Days are held annually, with the aim of enhancing vocational education, developing the performance of health cadres and raising their scientific level, indicating that the work of hospitals is not limited to providing medical services, but rather raising the efficiency of doctors. And exchanging experiences among them, especially that clinical cases will be presented during this event.
The President of the Syrian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgery, Dr. Wael Al-Barazi, will participate in two lectures on the cosmetic surgery of the apex of the nose, the restoration and repair of congenital malformations, the hare’s cheek and severe nose bruising, in addition to the latest methods of face-lifting using simple methods and the use of a single thread, and then tightening on a fixed bone structure.
In turn, the head of the Plastic Surgery Division at Ibn Al-Nafis Hospital, Dr. Hassan Baghdadi, indicated that his lecture deals with the topic of beautification, facial restoration and nose restoration after a surgical procedure and throwing through several stages to reach a satisfactory and functional cosmetic result for the nose, pointing out that two clinical cases and the method of management will be presented to obtain the best results. .
The list of hospitals participating in the scientific days includes Ibn Al-Nafis, Damascus, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the College and the martyr Basil Al-Assad for diseases and heart surgery, Al-Zahrawi for obstetrics, gynecology and surgery, and Ibn Rushd.
