Brazil and Paris St-Germain striker Neymar Jr. appeared Monday in a Barcelona court along with eight others, facing fraud and corruption charges over his 2013 transfer from Brazil's Santos to FC Barcelona.

According to Reuters, Neymar arrived from Paris and spent around two hours in court before being excused by the judge for the rest of the day's proceedings.

The case was brought by the Brazilian investment firm DIS, which owned 40% of Neymar's rights while he was at Santos.

The firm alleges that his transfer to Barcelona was undervalued.
