Another suspected oligarch is now being targeted after a recent raid on the mansions of Uzbek Usmanov.
Tegernsee – The CDU/CSU parliamentary group is targeting another suspected oligarch: Ivan Shabalev is said to have close ties to the Kremlin.
Like the Uzbek Alisher Usmanow, he has a real estate presence at Tegernsee.
According to information from the local CSU member of the Bundestag Alexander Radwan, he is said to have acquired two properties in Tegernsee-Süd for several million euros as managing director of a Luxburg GmbH in 2007.

On Radwan's initiative, Shabalav's assets are to be the subject of a question from the parliamentary group to the federal government.
The background is the EU sanctions list, which allows confiscation of assets.
However, it is questionable whether this will succeed with the 63-year-old Shabalov.
He is said to have business relationships with other oligarchs, such as Gazprom boss Alexei Miller.
However, he sold his two villas to his two children in 2019, as documents show.
