On September 24, Chen Chu, chairwoman of the Taiwanese Human Rights Commission, unveiled a statue of the late Japanese leader in Kaoshiung, southern Taiwan.
This one represents a man of a good bearing, addressing a friendly and considerate greeting.
Chen Chu, a historic figurehead of the opposition to the dictatorship that gripped his country until 1987, argued that Shinzo Abe had "

", reports the local press.
She's not the only one praising him.
