A child gang besieged and assaulted in a park in Mong Kok.
Police received a report from a 52-year-old man on Sunday (16th) that his 13-year-old daughter was assaulted in a park in Mong Kok.
The girl suffered multiple injuries and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital soberly by the informant.
The case was handed over to the Mong Kok Police District Criminal Division for follow-up. After preliminary investigation, it is believed that the victim girl had quarrelled with seven boys and girls at the above address over trivial matters and was attacked by them with their hands.
It is reported that the girl and the attacker knew each other.
After in-depth investigation and intelligence analysis, police officers yesterday and today (18-19) arrested 3 boys and 4 girls, aged between 12 and 14, in various districts in Hong Kong on suspicion of "assault causing actual bodily injury" Harm”, successfully detected a child gang bullying case in the district.
All arrested persons are being detained for investigation.
The case was handed over to the Mong Kok District Criminal Division for follow-up.
