Ten percussionists and string instruments, along with dancers and singers, conveyed, for about two hours, part of the vibrant and beautiful musical heritage of this region in the Russian Federation, which glorified the heroism of the Russian army in its war against Nazism and neo-Naziism.

The conductor of the orchestra, Yevgeny Petrov, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the band “includes a large number of musicians and dancers, some of whom came to Syria to present a group of songs that tell about the traditions and heritage of our region,” noting that a new song was released as a gift to the Syrian audience, sung by the band for the first time. in the presence of its author.

On the stage, Fayerbeck Alexander, a member of the Russian State Duma, presented two songs accompanied by the band, which he described as telling about the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the battles that took place in Stalingrad, and another about the current history and the battle that the Russian army is waging. The Governor of Lattakia, Engineer Amer Ismail Hilal, expressed in his speech during the evening the depth of cooperation relations between Syria and the Russian Federation in various fields, including the social and cultural aspect that supports civilized thought.

For his part, Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Peter Pannikov said in his speech that we came to Lattakia with a delegation of 70 people from various specializations, including administration, education, culture and business, and we aspire to enable and strengthen aspects of joint cooperation in all fields.

He added, "The Nizhny region orchestra came with us, and it is an honor for us to play on this stage in front of the Syrian audience, in which it will present a bouquet of the cultural product of our region.

Panikov pointed out that in cooperation with the governorate, more than ten agreements were signed between universities with conducting meetings with doctors, carrying out ophthalmology surgeries, and opening a Continuing Medical Education Center, and later a burn treatment center, stressing that serious cooperation between the Syrian and Russian peoples is a strength for both, Noting that efforts are continuing to complete all the required agreements under the directives of the leaderships of the two countries.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Majd Sarim, Director of Culture in Lattakia, pointed out that music remains the language of the world, which created a state of interaction between the audience and the band, which sang in more than one language and in different musical colors, indicating that it constitutes the best case for acquaintance between peoples and that this concert gives us an image of the heritage. Al-Hadari is an ancient country rooted in originality, with world-class musicians.

He pointed out that there are other opportunities for musical groups from the Russian Federation that will present their performances on this stage, hoping that there will be groups from Syria and Lattakia in particular to present their performances on Russian theaters, especially since the first musical notes came out of Latakia and included musicians who are able to transfer this heritage to the countries of the world. .

The evening of singing and dancing was accompanied by a display of a group of plastic paintings and photographs in the lobby of the house of a number of archaeological sites and landmarks of the Nizhny Novgorod region, which the delegation presented as a gift to the Directorate of Culture in Latakia.
