The Permanent Commission of Inquiry of the UN Human Rights Council on Israel, which was established following Operation Wall Guardian, published a hostile and biased report that harshly criticizes Israel, accuses it of committing war crimes, and dismisses the Palestinians for almost nothing.

Throughout the 28 pages of the report, Israel is mentioned no less than 277 times, compared to zero mentions of Hamas. The report recommends the involvement of the International Court of Justice in an investigation against Israel, and states that the settlements in Judea and Samaria constitute a war crime.

The investigative committee plans to present the report to the UN General Assembly as early as next week.

"The Commission of Inquiry of the Human Rights Council represents an unprecedented attack in the United Nations against the Jewish state," said Arsen Ostrovsky, director general of the International Legal Forum organization.

"Never, in the entire history of the incessant attacks against Israel at the UN, has a report been published that is so biased, completely one-sided and devoid of any factual or legal basis."

According to Ostrovsky, "The outcome of the report was predetermined from the first moment, when the decision to establish the committee that wrote it did not even once mention the terrorist organization Hamas, which launched more than 4,000 rockets at Israel during Operation Wall Guardian.

The fact that Hamas is not mentioned even once in the 28 pages of the report, compared to 277 mentions of Israel, is actually a green light for terrorism."

The head of the UN Commission of Inquiry is the South African jurist Navi Pillai, who has a rich past of anti-Israel statements and positions. About two and a half months ago, committee member Milon Kotari had to apologize, after he wondered why Israel was allowed to be a member of the UN and claimed that social networks were controlled mostly by the "Jewish lobby".

The office of Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, told "Israel Hayom" that he will respond strongly to the biased report and address the lack of legitimacy for holding the investigative committee at the hearing that will be held at the UN next week, in which the report will be presented by members of the committee.
