I am sad by the fact that the holiday is ending, and sad by the fact that the elections are happening.
But let's talk for a moment neither about this nor about that, but about the distorted, unnecessary and contemptible creature known as "election propaganda broadcasts".
what is this?
The propaganda broadcasts are divided into two parts.
One part is the broadcasts and videos of the usual, well-known parties and those who are involved in the game, and the other part belongs to the group of contestants in the elections who, out of respect and out of my desire to carry with me the blessing of the times, will call them: a little strange.
No need to elaborate.
All of this democratic celebration is carried out while governmental expropriation of public time and while forcing content on the broadcasting bodies and the unfortunate listeners.
This is not a technical regulation of the distribution of polling stations and the operation of the voting systems, nor the supervision of the purity of the elections nor the improvement of the counting technology.
This is a gross interference by the sovereign in the way that contestants in the elections will speak to their potential voters.
And all this for what?
So that we can hear the mutual curses of the major parties and the refreshing news of "Na - the list for the promotion of ceviche" and "Tamb - look who's coming, the party to welcome the Messiah" (there really aren't such parties, but there are much more strange ones).
The election supervision system is one big scammer, it's true.
It starts with the mandatory and outdated election financing law and continues with the elusive and unenforceable election campaign laws.
In general, the whole conflict between the decision that every citizen has the right to choose and be elected and the reality that requires political organization, a matter that in its essence can hardly be equal - is a huge complication.
You have to try and cure him.
Don't complicate it further.
One of the first actions in this direction should be the immediate cancellation of the institutionalized election propaganda broadcasts.
We don't deserve it.
Not least at the end of the holiday month.
