The Vannes hospital was affected Thursday by a power failure, announced the prefecture of Morbihan and the ARS, asking not to go to the emergency room of the establishment.
“Since this afternoon, the Bretagne Atlantique Hospital Center
(CHBA) has been
experiencing an electrical failure.
Several services are impacted, mainly the continuing care unit, the technical imaging platform, the operating theaters and the delivery rooms”
, indicate the prefecture and the Regional Health Agency in a joint press release, specifying that the CHBA had triggered the white plan.

The patients, who had been welcomed in these services, were directed to surrounding establishments with prior information from the families, according to the same source.
“If necessary, you are asked not to go to the emergency room of Vannes hospital and to contact 15”.
The CHBA has 3,590 agents, including 290 practitioners and 86 interns, and recorded around 74,000 emergency visits last year, according to its website.
