Damascus-SANA
Within the framework of the joint Syrian-Russian cultural exchange, the Syrian and Russian Ministries of Culture and the Russian Cultural Center organized a Russian concert at the Al-Azm Palace Theater in Old Damascus.
The concert featured two musical styles, “jazz and rock and rock”, where the jazz style included Masala Quatre, which presented a number of its songs, while the rock and rock style included Desert, which in turn presented international rock songs with a new arrangement, such as “Pink Floyd” and “Gary Moore” “.
Guitar teacher at the Russian Cultural Center, Basil Nafakh, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the concert aims to introduce the Syrian society in general to Russian jazz music as part of the cultural exchange plan between the two countries.
Nafakh indicated that the concert is the second for the Russian band, as it performed a concert last year at the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus.
