The Russian attack on Ukraine is on the rise

Airstrikes hit critical infrastructure in central and western Ukraine today (Saturday).

Sites south and west of Kyiv were damaged and power outages were reported throughout the country.

This morning, Ukrainian officials said that "critical infrastructure" was damaged in the Cherkasy region, southeast of the capital Kyiv.

Airstrikes and power outages were also reported from Odessa in the south to Rivne and Lutsk in the northwest.

The national electricity operator has announced that it will limit supply in several areas, including Kyiv.

Meanwhile, in an interview that Netanyahu gave to the American press, the opposition leader said that if elected prime minister he would consider supplying weapons to Ukraine. This is a change in Netanyahu's position, who until today advocated a very cautious line regarding the war in Ukraine, avoiding any possibility of friction with Russia. Unusually, And perhaps unprecedentedly, Netanyahu even criticized Putin, saying that the Russian president is "guided by his vision."
