British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has expressed his country's readiness to mediate a solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
"Russia and Ukraine must seek to stop the war, and Britain is ready to provide assistance in this," Wallace was quoted as saying during a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu, referring to Britain's commitment and the international community to stop the escalation of this crisis.
Earlier today, Russian Defense Minister Shoigu informed his British counterpart Wallace of Russia's concern about possible provocations by the Kyiv regime, which might detonate a "dirty bomb" in the territory under its control, accusing Moscow of inciting the international community against it.
